I used the large lens provided by Mark and Dave for both these photos. The top one is irritating to me because of the stick, but I can't remove it.

I used a Canon Rebel T3 for both.

Yellowstone

Since I leave for Yellowstone this weekend for photography, I thought I'd look up some quick tips from other photographers to hopefully avoid simple mistakes or missed opportunities. One article I liked talked about being out early in the morning and late in the evening, right at sunrise and sunset for wildlife shots. This is when wildlife is most active. There are some places that are especially good for wildlife viewing - Lamar Valley for coyotes, wolves, and bison, Slough Creek for wolves and bears, Pebble Creek for mountain goats, and Soda Butte for bighorn sheep.

Share 2 and Critique time! Here are my two photos to critique. I'm not super proud of either of them, but they're wildlife photos. I do like that the little squirrel is holding a bright red raspberry, it really draws focus there.

Yellowstone Geysers Trip

I recently went on a trip to Yellowstone, mainly to look at the geothermal features. Here are some pictures from that trip.
