Since I leave for Yellowstone this weekend for photography, I thought I'd look up some quick tips from other photographers to hopefully avoid simple mistakes or missed opportunities. One article I liked talked about being out early in the morning and late in the evening, right at sunrise and sunset for wildlife shots. This is when wildlife is most active. There are some places that are especially good for wildlife viewing - Lamar Valley for coyotes, wolves, and bison, Slough Creek for wolves and bears, Pebble Creek for mountain goats, and Soda Butte for bighorn sheep.
